Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect on pogp.pl, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. It describes what this website actually does, not general principles.

1. Who is the controller of your data

The controller of personal data collected on pogp.pl is:

The controller has not appointed a data protection officer. Should that change, the officer's contact details will be published here.

2. What data we collect

Contact form and application form. We store what you enter in the form: your name (optional field), e-mail address, subject and message. Together with the message we store the address of the page it was sent from, the language version of the website, the IP address of the device, and the date and time. The IP address and time are used solely to limit the number of submissions from a single device - without that, the form would be a spam tool.

Newsletter. We store the e-mail address entered in the form, the date of subscription and the IP address of the device.

Technical data. The server hosting the website keeps standard logs: IP address, date and time of the request, the address of the page visited, browser and operating system type.

The website does not collect special categories of data (Article 9 GDPR) and does not ask for them in any form.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

Replying to a message sent through a form - Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) or, where the matter does not concern a contract, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in corresponding with people who contact us).
Sending the newsletter - Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, given by submitting your address in the form). You may withdraw it at any time.
Visit statistics in Google Analytics - Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (your consent, given in the cookie banner). Without consent, analytics does not run at all - no Google script is loaded.
Protecting the website against abuse and spam - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in keeping the form usable).
Security and technical operation of the website (server logs) - Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

4. How long we keep the data

Messages from the forms - 12 months from the last contact in a given matter. Longer only where the matter is still being handled or where the law requires it, for instance accounting rules.
Newsletter address - until consent is withdrawn or you unsubscribe. Every newsletter message contains an unsubscribe link.
Google Analytics statistics - for the retention period set in that service. You may withdraw your consent to analytics at any time by clicking the cookie icon in the bottom left corner of the page.
Your cookie choice - stored in your browser, on your device. It does not reach our server.
Server logs - in line with the hosting provider's rules.

5. Who receives the data

Data is shared only with parties we need in order to run the website, and only to the extent required:

home.pl S.A., ul. Zbożowa 4, 70-653 Szczecin, Poland - website hosting, database and e-mail. A processor acting under a data processing agreement.
MailerLite Limited, 88 Harcourt Street, Dublin 2, Ireland - newsletter service. Addresses submitted through the newsletter form are stored in that system.
Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland - Google Analytics. Data reaches Google only if you consent to analytics. Google may transfer data to affiliates outside the European Economic Area, under the terms of its own privacy policy - linked at the end of this page.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

6. Content embedded from third-party services

Some pages - mostly news articles - contain videos from YouTube. They do not load together with the page. In place of the video you see a cover with a play button, and the connection to Google's servers happens only when you click it - that is, after a deliberate decision on your part. The video is then loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, where Google stores cookies only once playback starts. From the moment you click, Google's own terms apply, as described in its privacy policy.

Since 21 September 2026 the typefaces used on this website are served from our own server rather than from Google Fonts. Opening a page therefore no longer passes your IP address to Google.

7. Cookies

The pogp.pl website does not store any cookies of its own. On your first visit we show a banner where you decide about one thing - visit statistics:

Essential - remembering your cookie choice and handling the forms. These are always on, because without them the website could not work properly. Your choice is stored in your browser, on your device.
Analytics - Google Analytics 4. We run it only with your consent. If you choose „Essential only", no Google script is loaded.

You can change your decision at any time - click the cookie icon in the bottom left corner of the page. You can also change cookie settings in your browser, usually under „Privacy" or „Site data".

A separate session cookie is used only in the editorial panel, available after logging in to people who edit the content. It does not concern visitors to the website.

The rules on storing information on terminal equipment are set out in the GDPR and in the Polish Electronic Communications Law.

8. Your rights

In relation to the processing of your data you have the right to:

access your data and obtain a copy of it - Article 15 GDPR,
have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected - Article 16 GDPR,
erasure of your data - Article 17 GDPR,
restriction of processing - Article 18 GDPR,
data portability - Article 20 GDPR,
object to processing based on legitimate interest - Article 21 GDPR,
withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on it - Article 7(3) GDPR. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

To exercise these rights, write to biuro@pogp.pl. We reply without undue delay and no later than one month from receiving the request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:

9. Is providing data mandatory

Providing data is voluntary. Without an e-mail address, however, we cannot reply to a message sent through a form or send you the newsletter - that is the only data those functions require.

10. Automated decisions and profiling

We do not take automated decisions about you and we do not use profiling.

11. Changes to this policy

We may change this policy when the way the website works changes, or when the law does. The current version is always available at this address.
